Upped my weights this week. I am sore AF but I am feeling so much stronger🏋️‍♀️ I can't believe that I have been doing this program for 5 weeks. All the deadlifts today! 5x3 at 75%, so 185 for me. They actually felt really good! Form felt good, weight felt decent but not too heavy. But then the deadlifts at 155 for the metcon destroyed me. That weight got really heavy really fast. I still need to work on my form more, to make sure it stays good when I’m dying! But it was a good Friday evening workout, and a nice start to my vacation!

#aumentodemasamuscular Para el aumento de la masa muscular (hipertrofia), es importante la frecuencia del ejercicio. La frecuencia es la cantidad de veces que se entrena un grupo muscular, aunque la ciencia no tiene una respuesta de cual es la frecuencia óptima para la ganancia muscular esta claro que entre más frecuente se trabaja el grupo mayor ganancia tendrá. Sin embargo, debes tener en cuenta el principio de recuperación, es tan importante como el trabajo. Es decir que puedes planificar el trabajo del grupo muscular hasta 5 veces por semana pero cuidando el número total de repeticiones realizadas. Si realizas remo por ejemplo, 8 repeticiones, 4 series. El volumen total de ese ejercicio sería 32, ahora si sumas un aproximado de 5 ejercicios más de espalda con la misma cantidad de repeticiones y series, el volumen total sería 192 repeticiones. Ejercicios, denominados isométricos, que decidimos incorporar en tu entrenamiento en Fuerza G y que tienen la particularidad de que no generan movimiento de contracción ni extensión del músculo, es decir, consisten en aguantar una postura específica (En este caso posición final de sentadilla como aparece en la Foto )durante un tiempo dado (o lo máximo que aguantes). Beneficios 1. Mínimo Riesgo de Lesiones: Al no realizarse ningún tipo de movimiento o impacto en las articulaciones, el riesgo de padecer alguna lesión se reduce notablemente. 2. Fortalecimiento de los Músculos: Realizar una tensión mantenida durante breves periodos de tiempo te ayudará a aumentar notablemente la resistencia y la eficiencia de tu cuerpo. Este tipo de entrenamiento ofrece la posibilidad de trabajar de forma aislada un grupo muscular. 3. Rápida Ejecución: Si eres una persona ocupada y tienes poco tiempo para a entrenar la fuerza estos ejercicios son ideales para ti. No vas a necesitar invertir demasiado tiempo para realizarlos ya que no requieren demasiadas repeticiones y la duración de cada uno de ellos es muy corta (aunque deberá ir aumentando gradualmente). 4. No Requieren Material: Una de las ventajas de este tipo de ejercicios es que no vas a necesitar ni máquinas ni equipamiento específico para poder realizarlos. 5. Ideales para la Rehabilitación: Como ya hemos visto, los ejercicios isométricos son ideales para evitar la aparición de lesiones y prevenirlas. Del mismo modo son muy recomendables para aquellas personas que se están recuperando de una lesión. 6. Activación de las Unidades Motoras:Al tratarse de ejercicios que no requieren impacto, los puede realizar cualquier tipo de persona sin necesidad de disponer de una forma física excelente.
